Event Description:
Led by Tony Holtzman, retired Professor from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and author of five novels, all written and published after his retirement, this workshop will emphasize writing fiction, including short stories and longer work (no poetry), and creative non-fiction, including memoirs and biography. No previous writing experience is needed, just an interest in trying your hand. Participants will be expected to write manuscripts of up to five pages on a rotating basis with three presentations at each session, and to comment on the presentations of others. Enrollment is limited to ten participants.
