The Holy Mirror

Name: The Holy Mirror
Date: August 13, 2017 - August 18, 2017
Event Description:
Vallombrosa is pleased to announce that noted Catholic author and retreat facilitator Alice Camille will be holding a 6-day retreat at the Vallombrosa Center on Sacred Scripture. Throughout our lives, certain archetypes shape our sense of self, the world, the road we're on, and the goals we seek. Our idea of good and evil, male and female, leaders, parents, mentors, friends, and more are framed in the stories of the Bible. The picture’s not always pleasant, but it never fails to be instructive and is sometimes downright revelatory. Mirror, mirror on the wall: what's the purpose of us all? Topics covered: Your Life as Revelatory Source, The Male/Female Thing, Who’s Your Devil, The Parent Trap and The Purpose of It All is. You can attend all 6 days and spend the night in a single or a shared double room, attend as a commuter or do a one day drop-in.
