Event Description:
Please join us for the dedication of the newly constructed Menlo Gates. Originally built in 1954 by two Irish immigrants, this is a full scale replica. The gates symbolize the long standing Sister City relationship with Galway, Ireland, a city with approx. 75,000 people, including approx. 18,000 students at a nearby university. Menlo Park Mayor, Ray Mueller will provide the keynote address.
Location:
Corner of Ravenswood Avenue and Alma Street, at the Civic Center Campus, adjacent to the main public library.
