Event Description:
The Business Issues & Transportation committee works to keep members and the community informed about issues that could impact our city. The focus includes fostering and maintaining a strong liaison with local, state and federal government. Transportation, Housing and Land Use are major community issues in which the Chamber has taken an active leadership role. Areas where this is apparent are: Bayfront Expressway and Marsh Road improvements, Caltrain Modernization, Downtown Parking, Highway 101 Pedestrian Bridge, Willow Road Interchange design, Safe Routes to School, Shuttle Programs, the Housing Element and the El Camino Real/Downtown Specific Plan.

Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to submit their events to the Chamber’s community calendar.  Please adhere to the following guidelines for all event submissions:
– Preference will be given to those events taking place in the cities of Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside, and Portola Valley. Large scale events of influence outside the city of Menlo Park will be considered for inclusion on an individual basis.
– The Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to publish events at their discretion.
