In support of the reach code effort to minimize fossil fuel use in new construction, Menlo Spark has produced a Zero Carbon Commercial Construction Guide (linked here) that shows examples of developments that have avoided fossil fuels with all electric designs that save money and improve the comfort for occupants. The Guide contains electric heating and appliance equipment specs for the best products available in U.S. markets right now. Redwood Energy, which created this guide, will be available for a limited amount of complimentary technical consulting as well (please contact email@example.com if you’re interested). They are currently drafting a similar Guide for Multi-family construction.
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to submit their events to the Chamber’s community calendar. Please adhere to the following guidelines for all event submissions:
– Preference will be given to those events taking place in the cities of Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside, and Portola Valley. Large scale events of influence outside the city of Menlo Park will be considered for inclusion on an individual basis.
– The Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to publish events at their discretion.
